Materials & Sizes
All Cabin Safety Passenger Briefing Cards are printed on 10 pt
("Carolina" or similar) coated stock for better durability and appearance.
Normally, the layout for Cabin Safety cards is with two folds. This format serves
a dual purpose: First, the "triple thickness" of the folded card increases strength of
the card. Second, in its folded format, the card size is the most practical for all seatback
storage dimensions.
Cards are available in two distinct sizes, based on experience, which would
provide optimum appropriate size for aircraft storage locations (seatback pockets, etc.). When
folded, the dimensions are as follows:
| Standard Airliners |
11" high x 5.75" wide |
| Small Commuter, Biz-Jet and Helicopters |
8.5" high x 4.5" wide |

Comparison
All Cabin Safety cards are also available with optional lamination (1.5 mil, 3.0
mil, or 5.0 mil) at an additional charge. Based on experience, the cost of lamination is not cost
effective, and can be more appropriately offset by larger orders of non-laminated cards.
